1. Who we are

SiteWave DEV ("SiteWave DEV", "we", "our", or "us") is a software engineering studio based in San Antonio, Texas. We are a sister studio to SiteWave Creative and SiteWave AI. You can reach us at hello@sitewavedev.com or (210) 245-1997.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that helps us communicate with you and deliver our services.

• Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional company name, project type, budget range, and the message you send.
• Correspondence. If you email, call, or message us, we retain that correspondence so we can respond and maintain a project record.
• Project information. During an engagement we may process information you share with us, such as source code, credentials, data samples, documents, and similar materials, under the terms of our signed agreement.
• Technical data. Our website collects minimal technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed, used to operate and secure the site.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

3. How we use information

• Responding to inquiries and preparing proposals.
• Delivering, supporting, and invoicing agreed services.
• Operating, securing, and improving this website.
• Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising profiling or share it with third-party advertisers.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: your consent (contact form), performance of a contract (delivering engaged services), our legitimate interests (site security, communication), and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

5. Service providers we use

We use a small set of reputable vendors to run the business. Each handles data under their own privacy terms and is only given access to what they need.

• Supabase: stores contact form submissions securely.
• Hosting & CDN providers: serve this website.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google Firebase, and similar services used on specific client projects under written agreements.
• Email & calendaring: used to communicate with you.

6. Cookies & analytics

This site uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage required for basic function. If we add analytics in the future, we will use privacy-respecting tools and, where required, request your consent first.

7. Data retention

We keep contact inquiries for up to 24 months. Project records, invoices, and contracts are retained for the period required by law (typically 7 years in the U.S.) or as specified in the engagement agreement. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior processing).
• File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We follow industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by the platform, least-privilege access, row-level security on our databases, and audit logging on production systems. No online service is 100% secure, and we will notify affected individuals if a breach occurs in accordance with applicable law.

10. International transfers

Our vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Third-party links

This site links to our sister studios (SiteWave Creative, SiteWave AI) and other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, a notice on this site.
